A historic step forward for the legal profession and the Rule of Law

The Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Lawyers, highlighted in the UIA Declaration, is the first legally binding international instrument dedicated exclusively to safeguarding the legal profession.

The General Council of the Mexican Legal Profession (CGAM) supports this initiative and echoes the UIA’s call for global adoption.
